Committee for Academic Affairs
What: Newbies night in the Committee for Academic Affairs
Where: Cajsa, Mannerheimintie 5 B
When: 10 March 2015, 6pm
Contrary to commonly held beliefs, people engaged in academic affairs are able to do more than organise meetings. Don't you believe that? Come and see for yourself!

All who are interested in the activities of the Committee for Academic Affairs are welcome – we particularly hope that new persons who have found their calling in academic affairs would show up. The detailed programme will be updated soon, but at least we provide food and casual socialising. A playful meeting simulation is possible, if you do not stop the chairpersons in time.

Welcome!

Committee for Fenno-Ugric Cooperation
The Committee for Fenno-Ugric Cooperation, established in 1995, operates in the Student Union of the University of Helsinki. The committee supports the efforts     of our language relatives to foster their own language and culture. The most important tool is the kindred nation collection: in connection with HYY's membership fee, students can pay the optional collection fee. The Committee's duty is to direct the collected funds to projects of the Finno-Ugric minorities. The Committee for Fenno-Ugric Cooperation invites all who are interested in kindred nation issues to the newbies night to get to know the activities of the Committee.

The newbies night of the Committee for Fenno-Ugric Cooperation is organised at 6pm on 11 Mar at Kaivokatu 10 A, 9th floor, in the meeting room Batman in Kaivotalo building. We provide snacks and discussion on kindred nation themes.

Welcome!

Committee for Societal Affairs
The newbies night of the Committee for Societal Affairs is organised in the meeting room Sparre at the New Student House at 5pm on Thursday, 19 Mar. The theme of the evening is networking, advocacy work and the achievement of objectives. Niilo Toivonen has been invited to speak in the event. He leads the lobbying and networking training session in the evening. After the training session, we provide refreshments and heal the world over a glass of wine. We also have plans to provide the opportunity to go to the sauna.

Committee for Environmental Affairs
The Committee for Environmental Affairs will organise a newbies night at 6pm on Mon, 30 March, in the meeting room Rydman (address: Kaivokatu 10 A, 9th floor). The evening includes the presentation of the Committee for Environmental Affairs and an environmentally themed documentary. We also provide snacks.
