Year tags and Caledars are available in August

HYY's Member Service Office is closed 21.6.-29.7. Year tags for student card and the Calendars for the upcoming Academic Year 2012-2013 will be available starting 1st of August.

Year tags for student card and the Calendars
Year tags for student card and the Calendars (Language: Finnish or Swedish) for the upcoming Academic Year 2012-2013 will be available starting 1st of August. You can collect them from HYY's Member Service Office and from University Student Services (Main building, Fabianinkatu 33)at Central Campus and Kumpula (Jyrängöntie 2). In august and September there will also be two temporary distribution point for the year tags and calendars in the University Main Building and in Viikki.

Centre campus temporary distribution point - open August 13th to September 7th  at Fabianinkatu 33, 1st floor
Mon 8.30-16.30
Tue, Thu, Fri 8.30-16.00
Wed 8.30-17.00

Viikki campus temporary distribution point - open August 20th to September 7th at Biokeskus 1, Viikinkaari 9
Mon-Fri 10.00-15.00

Note! The office is closed 9.7.-22.7.2011. You can contact the Student Services via email (studentinfo(at)helsinki.fi) when the office is closed. You can expect an answer within three working days.

Enrolment, Registration and Student union Fee
Registration for attendance (or non-attendance) is obligatory for all students: undergraduates, graduates and postgraduates. f you are an undergraduate or graduate student, you need to pay the Student Union fee. More information on the Student Services' page and on HYY's page

To prove your student status
If you lose your Student card during the summer you can prove that you are a student (for example in unicafe) with a certificate of attendance which is available from the University's Student Services. As a student you get a discount on train tickets if you have a student union student card approved by VR or the VR and Matkahuolto joint student card for which you need a certification from the Student Services. Please note! An ISIC card or other international student card do not entitle you to a student discount nor to acquisition of VR and Matkahuolto joint student card.
